Barrels with .565 bore and .577 groove diameters are not a size found in nature, so to speak, but we were able to gull our good friend Cliff LaBounty into making a rifling head to rebore the original Redhawk barrel. I have one of those monsters, several of the gunmakers in st Mary Row in Birmingham, made them. Subsequently the cartridge cases were made in the modern method using drawn brass and the gunpowder load was able to propel a 400 grain bullet at a useful 725 fps. These huge .577 revolvers were not made in large quantities and few survive.In South America the 15mm pinfire revolvers enjoyed a longer service life and are more common. Early coiled-brass cartridge cases were not terribly dependable and caused function problems.
